About Me

I serve as an Instructional Technology Coach within the School of Instructional Technology & Innovation at Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia. I am currently pursuing a Doctorate of Education in Educational Practice and Innovation with a concentration in Learning Design and Technologies from the University of South Carolina. I also hold a Master of Education in Education Administration from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from South Carolina State University.

Throughout my career in education, I have worked with stakeholders on the primary and secondary levels in suburban, urban, and rural communities. I also served as a Coaching Teacher for pre-service education majors through the University of South Carolina.

As an educator, I believe that every person is gifted with a unique set of skills at birth. It is my job to help people enhance their skillset and develop new abilities. Some of my favorite strategies include incorporating culturally relevant pedagogy and modeling expectations for student success.
